Lieutentant Commander Maurice Frederick King is named as adminstrator to an admon in 1964.
The person who died was Barbara Doreen Quirk nee Bethell (1920-1964). His wife, Dorothy J King, is also mentioned as an administrator. I believe she was Barabara's older sister Dorothy J Bethell (1917-

Now I can't find any marriage for  MF King to a Dorothy. I was hoping to find a Naval document that can help narrow down my search and also interested in Maurice Frederick King!

ps. The Bethell's sisters father was a naval architect so I do know they had strong links to the Navy in the Southampton area.

thanks in advance.
Hopefully I can pin him down
Jenny

ah thanks Rosie,

I have just found that myself too,  It must have been her second marriage.
i still can't find much on her husband though.  He could have come from anywhere serving in the Southampton/Portsmouth area.

the Yorkshire link is also there as their father moved up North sometime after his wife died in 1945. Her sister also died in Sheffield, so I do think the Jenkins marriage is probably correct.

I did wonder about the Yorkshire marriage   ;D  I amended my post to omit first names as Cas had suggested they may still be living.

I've found a probate for a Dorothy Joan King who died 2012 (Leeds office dealt with it) but Ancestry's later death index is far from complete to double check if its her or not. ( I did check though! ;D)

Thank you Jebber!

I have also just this minute found Maurice Frederick King in the UK Naval Lists on Ancestry for the year 1955... indeed he was a LC.

Anyone know what the abbreviations X PT stand for in columns prior to his name ?
