I need help please to find the parents of Frederick William Wright b. about. 1876 Wittington  Derbyshire  He moved to Mansfield married Ellen Crowder in 1897 daughter Gertrude b in1899   Would appreciate  anyone's help. Many thanks. Tineke

Marriage to Ellen has him as Frederick Wright (no William)   The certificate would give his fathers name.

Hi can I just ask where/how you have obtained the middle name of William for Frederick, as I can see in 1901/11 he is either Frederick or Frank Wright?

He could be possibly the Frederick Wright aged 15 b Mansfield in 1891 with brothers Thomas 22 and George 20 who were born in New Whittington, but checking back to 1881 he appears to be a Frederick James Wright?

I have daughter Gertrude's marriage certificate  on which his name is clearly Frederick William Wright. . I have seen his place of birth on more than one census as Wittington , but he obviously moved to Mansfield at some point.  Tineke

If you don't already have it already I think you may need the marriage certificate for Frederick & Ellen.
What does his death record give his name as

Hello.  I cannot find 1911 census. Only 1901 as above which  is. correct. . I have found a death for Frederick W Wright in Dec 1935. gives date of birth about 1877. Reg district Nottingham. County Nottinghamshire. His wife Ellen died in 1934.   Tineke

Try looking for Gertrude born Mansfield - father possibly Frank 

Or maybe just Wright born Mansfield

Thanks. Found them.     Transcribed as Frank Wright. bMansfield. Ellen  down as Edward Wright.   Gertrude as Garth  then4 siblings one named Lily.  There is an L Wright as witness on Gertrude marriage certificate.    Also they are living at the address 10 Nursery Crescent which is the address on Gertrude's marriage certificate.  Still think I will need to get a marriage certificate for Frederick and Ellen to get more info.  Thank you so much for all your help.  Really it.  Tineke.
