help with Queensland Defense Force regulations 1890 - completed with thanks

Can anyone please help me to know what theses regulations were? Before finding this article I didn't know Joshua had anything to do with the Defense Forces. (I'm assuming L F P and S, Glasgow has something to do with his qualifications, although he obtained them at Guy's Hospital London)

LFPS = Licentiate of the Faculty of Physicians and Surgeons - Glasgow.

I have records for one of mine from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow they have archives & wonderful library. They are very helpful.

Thanks Merlin, that's very helpful. Reading up about it I see that doctors who studied at different institutions could be licensed through the Royal College so that makes sense. Good to know they are helpful! Thanks again.
