Henry Mariner was born 25 January 1882 in St. George in the East (Whitechapel). His service record has not survived but this MIC states "Spr #82891, 134th A.T. (Army Troops) Fortress Company". He died at Gallipoli and is buried at Beach Cemetery.
He married Jane McNally in 1907 and when he died she was left with 3 young children.
