Parents of the bride
« on: Wednesday 04 January 17 07:38 GMT (UK) »
Hi people, and Happy New Year to everyone.

I'm able to make out all the details on this MC, except for the occupation of the late bride's father, and her late mother's maiden name.  Any suggestions?
NEAL, TAYLOR, WRIGHT, BIDWELL, PRICE, YEARDLEY, RODGERS, HANDLEY, ELLIS, LOWE, HOUGH, ANNABLE, DAWSON, SANDERSON, PARKIN

Sorry to disagree people, but aren't they the groom's dad's details?

Her mum's maiden name looks like it might be Kirkmead?

You are absolutely correct Carol . . .my careless reading

I think her father might be grocer??   Deceased.

Mum's maiden name could be Kirkmead . . .   I cannot improve on it anyhow.

Agree with "grocer deceased" and then either Kirkmead or Kirkwood.

Don't know if on the right lines? But seems correct.

Marriage of Elizabeth Kirkwood - Robert Orr.  https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XTKY-7Q3

Added https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XTVK-BBN  bapt of Mary Orr

Other siblings on Familysearch, including Margaret, also possible census, but only individual not families.

The marriage is on this thread, gives Roberts occ as Grocer.
