I am looking for Captain Brown stationed in Alderney, Channel Islands in 1909.  The "Captain" may just be hearsay, but believe it to be true.  My great grandmother came to be in the family way in 1909 and gave birth to my grandfather in May 1910.  I have been told if an officer who was unable to marry a local girl he impregnated, he was hurried out of the region.  This appears to be the case.  Any help would be much appreciated.

The Middlesex Regt'l Museum no longer exists & their collections are now held by the National Army Museum.
You could contact them & ask what they have re. serving Officers C.1910.
