Ive got Emanuels link confirmed he was born 1847, Greenbooth, Rochdale, ......Ive just got his bcert and it has a name crossed out and the name Emanuel written underneath and he seems to be down as possibly Edmund on the 1851 census,  and he was in the army by 1871 and also stayed in Fleetwood around that time but there is little else I can find on him

Hello again.
Do you know which regiment?
I've just looked at Irish civil records in case Emmanuel/Edmund and Matilda married there or had a previous marriage. Irish Genealogy.ie
 https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/en/

1873 marriage City of Cork. An Edward Tattersall, widower, soldier 15th Regt. married Ellen McCarthy, widow. Both were full age (21 or over).

1878 death registration Mallow Superintendent Registrar's District, Buttevant District, County Cork
At Rathclare, Buttevant, Emmanuel Tattersall, age 21, Corporal 22nd. Regt. Accidently drowned.

Buckley is a common surname in County Cork. There were many army barracks in the county.

she is living with Emanuel Tattersall  by the 1888 census, her children are born from 1881

There was no 1888 census in England.
Which census years have you found Matilda with her husband & where?
Which census did Matilda say she was a widow?

Would you please do a recap and list all the children's births with registration years and registration districts?

Hi Maiden, I hope you are well, thank you for replying, this is the info I have..
