William Brown 1879-1881?
« on: Wednesday 25 January 17 14:07 GMT (UK) »
Hi, I'm trying to find info regarding a William Brown b.1879-1881. His father was a Thomas Brown (occupation - Journeyman Plasterer) at the time of his marriage to Mary Linton in 1908 at the Register Office, district of West Derby, county of Liverpool. William (occupation - butcher) and his wife Mary were lodging at 1 Steble St, Toxteth Park with their sons William age 3 and Charles Henry age 1 in 1911 (census confirms this). My problem is trying to find the family later on, 1939 register shows nothing. So I am assuming the parents may have passed. William age 3 is my line of enquiry whom I have got to present day but his parents and brother, I have come to a dead end. I was wondering if anyone could advise as where to go from here and also if someone could be ever so kind to look up a brith entry for the above William
many thanks

Hi witnesses to marriage were W Duffy and Esther Rycroft. William was living at 20 Overbury (I think that is what it says on marriage certificate ) Street, West Derby. I am assuming that William was born in west Derby division of Liverpool as I have a 1901 census record showing him living with a Thomas Brown, plasterer and family RG13/3493 (page 6) but before I go any further on this family, I need to confirm I have the correct person.
