William Martin 1846 Staffordshire

I am looking for William Martin's wifes surname, her christian name is Martha. Both were born in Hanley Stoke on Trent William 1846 and Martha 1858. Their first child Elizabeth was born in 1880. Any help appreciated.

Have you looked on the GRO index for the daughter Elizabeths birth registration on the GRO index as it should show her mothers maiden name

ancestry suggests Martha Degg and there is an Elizabeth Martin birth S 1879 Stoke on Trent with mothers maiden name Degg

Have looked on GRO site. There is an Elizabeth Martin born stoke on Trent in 1879 last quarter with mothers maiden name fellows.
