Hello,

I have been working on the family of an old friend and found them in Cardiganshire but in the 1901 census I found an oddity.

The Father David EVANS is there with his second wife and with 10+ children.

Nellie EVANS born 1889 Meifod, Montgomeryshire, Wales
and TWO 'Step children'
Arthur Griffiths born 1886 Meifod, Montgomeryshire, Wales
Jessie Griffiths born 1887 Meifod, Montgomeryshire, Wales

These two children have the full rights of direct family Children (they are not listed as servants like some of the others) so what is going on here?

Any thoughts appreciated?
