Can anyone tell me anything about this uniform.  Regiment, battalion etc.  Thank you.

Good evening,

He is in the Royal Artillery and the badge on his left arm tells you he is a signaller. He is wearing spurs so is mounted, possibley a rider on a gun team.

I can't see his shoulder titles which would tell us exactly which branch of the artillery.

Royal horse artillery is the most well known but garrison and field artillery also had horse drawn guns. They just plodded rather than galloped into battle due to the larger size of gun.

Year of birth was 1896, born Hackney, London, if that helps at all.
