Winifred Griffin nee O'Sullivan

Winifred O'Sullivan was born and baptised in Newbridge Kildare in 1864 her parents Eugene/Owen O'Sullivan and Mary Freney were married in Dublin and seemed to be in Kildare till mid 1860s then back to Dublin both died mid 1890s in Dublin.

Winifred married Michael Griffin Nov 1880 in Pro Cathedral
Michael Griffin died 1893 in Dublin

1901 she's a widow

the main problem i have is i cannot find a birth for any of the children with the exception of Eugene who was baptised and registered 1883.
So i am wondering are they all nurse children with their names changed.

the other problem is by 1964 Winifred would have been 100 there is no death recorded for her before 1964 nor does she appear on the Glasnevin index where her husband and children appear.

any ideas ?

Are you sure the two census are are the same family.
The more I look I see yet another small difference.
The widow and married as you said
The hand writing is very upright in 1901 and slanted to the right in 1911
In 1911 says married 14 years with 5 children 5 living and 5 on the census
and than the born Kildare and born Dublin
and than in 1901 she signed as Margaret.
Not that I've found any other possibility for her.

later records suggest address of 1 St Mary's Terrace which is close by the 1911 address

also in 1906 when Christina married George Habington the witnesses were Mary Carroll her married sister and a Winifred Lambert
in 1901 the nurse child was Teresa Lambert changed to Griffin by 1911

Teresa's mother is Winifred Sullivan Lambert according to birth

James Lambert birth  too in 1902

In both 1901 and 1911 there is a single man, James Lambert,  a Carpenter

Heywood i was at this all day yesterday and since about 8 o clock this morning trying to find all those children i dont know how i never thought of that, excellent ,super thank you for finding them.
So it seems obvious that she's not married to James Lambert

I actually saw Teresa's birth yesterday but only looked at the father's name not the mother's or the address,think i spend too long at it.

That would explain why the daughters put Carpenter/Joiner on marriage certs while son Eugene puts labourer though they all say father is Michael Griffin.
