hi wonder if anyone can help... am trying to find out about marriages with very little information.  For Dixon family in Seaham.  The sisters were called eleanor born 1908, Mary Ann born 1905 and Elizabeth born 1900.  I s there any way I can find out when and where they got married with just this info?  Have tried Genes Reunited and ancestry but just so many possibilities....

Hi,

Welcome to RootsChat  :)

Was Eleanor's birth registered as Helena Dixon? -
q4 1907, Easington
Vol 10a Page 480
Mother's maiden name - Devlin

If so then this could be her marriage -

Helena Dixon
q1 1933, Easington, Durham
Vol 10a Page 583
Spouse - Matthew Bell

If there are a lot of possible options I'm afraid you may just have to take an educated guess and order one of the certificates.

Do you have their exact dates of birth?  That might help with tracing them on the 1939 register (if they were still alive)

Have you looked for deaths for them as spinsters?  One or more may not have married  :)
Hinchliffe - Huddersfield Wiltshire
Burroughs - Arlingham Glos
