I know this thread is almost 2 years old. Each time I see the title "Census 1971 look-up" I first blame my eyesight, then think "I'm on 1971 census; surely it's not due for release for 50 years? Am I a sort of half-time Sleeping Beauty, awake after half-a-century?"  ???  I'm having difficulty coming to terms with 2019; can't cope with anything more complicated, timewise.  :)

Thank you KG for the information on Janet and Robert John Stewart, I was aware of their marriage but I didn’t know their children’s names. I believe that line of the family may have went to Australia.

Moses Matchett seems to be buried in the Belfast City Cemetery under the name Moris . His wife Mary Matchett ( nee Taylor) is also buried there under Mary Malchett.

Thought this might be helpful if anyone is looking for burials though they are both buried in public ground.

Thanks again G

A new poster to this site  My GGG Grandfather was Moses Matchett 1841 - 1903 through his son - William James Matchett 1862 - 1916 and then Elizabeth Annie Matchett. Would be happy to correspond with anyone on this family group.
