Info on Regiment and Rank

Could one of you knowledgeable people tell me the name of my Grandfather's Regiment and also his Rank? I never knew him and know very little about him. Thank you in advance.

Good afternoon,

He is a 2nd lieutenant in the Highland Light Infantry. Officers records were kept seperately from other ranks so survived the ww2 bombing. I can't give you a link to where to access them but no doubt Ken or Ady will be along later to supply that info.
