William/George Headland

Hi all

I have been searching my headland family and have found a branch that ended up in Denaby Main. I have found the kids baptism records on genuki transcription of mexborough Methodist baptisms. On there is the baptism of William headland born 02/06/1898, but I can't find any other information on him.

On the 1901 census, there is no William, but there is a george headland age 4. Not seen a baptism record for him or found birth record. The only other information I have found is for a george headland in the ww1 army records listed as being 19 in 1918 and from danby Yorkshire.

Is William/George the same person. I have found no other information so far. I have found info for 2 other brothers and 3 sisters so far.

What was mothers maiden name?

Doesn't seem to be a birth for William but there are some George's - what is the registration district for that area?

George isn't born that late so it can't be him.  I wonder if there was a William but he died soon after baptism 

Now there's a William Headland death in Doncaster Sep 1898 age 4 - could be 4 weeks?

William was  baptised 17 August 1898 along with John, Ada, Sarah & Lois

If it helps with the numbers 4 children have died by 1911.

Can you list all the children you have so we can count them in and out.

There's an Arthur Hedland birth reg mothers name Severn in Dec 1899 Doncaster.

2 children in 1891 - Louisa - John

6 children in 1901 - Louisa - John - Ada - Sarah - George - Albert

Possible deaths include Arthur 1900 - Albert 1901 - Martha Ann 1902

Louisa - John - Ada - Sarah - George all still living. 

So that leaves one death to find which could be William.

Hi all.

Mothers maiden name was Severn. The children I have are John, Louisa, Ada, Sarah, William and Albert from the baptism records. Seems Strange that George wasn't.
