You may already have this but just incase you dont i see you are interested in Alexander McRobie,Gamekeeper father of Annie Elizabeth McRobie who married Robert Teer or Tier in Dublin 1867
https://churchrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/display-pdf.jsp?pdfName=d-45-3-19-102

they had a daughter Mary Jane born in Limerick shortly after
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:F5WK-B62
civil cert says Robert was a footman
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1867/03469/2274244.pdf

the marriage address in Dublin was 9 Verchoyle Place

Looking at dathai's links and this family

Edward McROBIE m Susanna SMITH on Mar 16 1854 in Adare, Co. Limerick
He was a gamekeeper
They had at least nine children
1856 Eliza possibly died 1874
1858 Hannah
1860 Edward
1862 Dinah died 1874
1864 Unnamed died 1864
1865 Alexander George
1868 John
1869 Emma Susan
1873 Henry
LINK to irishgenealogy.ie where later births are recorded and some online

Although this family may be related there are no logical births or gaps to imply the children on the 1861 census in Scotland;  Jane (bc1857) and Alexander (bc 1859) are part of the same family
they may be cousins

editted to add
Alexander McROBIE m Emily CHEADLE
She is on the 1901 census in Galway LINK
at house 14.4 in Lombard Street (Galway North Urban, Galway)
Alexander George McRobie signed the return
because of this you would expect to find him on a Barracks return (Form H) but I cannot see him
