I found the attached death record for John O'Malley and I'm trying to determine if he's my relative. I think it reads that his location at death is Cushlecka which corresponds with my family. It mentions his daughter as being Mary Ann and I'd like to find a birth record for her which would hopefully tell me her mother's name. From there I'd like to see if I can get a marriage record that would confirm John's parent's names. Then I'd know if he's my John. Also having difficulty reading the info in box #8. Can anyone kindly help me with this? TIA
Ireland: Mayo - O'Malley, Malley, Currigan, Lynchacan. Antrim - McAuley. Louth - Byrne. Down - Smith.
England: Lancashire - O'Malley, McCauley, Foster.

Have you looked on Census?
In Church records?
Civil Registers?

Thanks hallmark, I'll start searching the census records. I should have thought to do this so thank you for the reminder.

His death cert shows he's a retired seaman. Could that be the reason he's not on the census?
