 Can anyone shed a light on a marriage between a  Charles jackett and a Catherine Main possibly before 1822.  would really appreciate help.

Is there a known Kent link for the family, given that you have posted on the Kent board?

Familysearch has some children for Charles & Catherine Jackett in Bromley.

I cant find anything for a 1st Marriage.

By 1841 Census Charles is in Berkshire and married to an Eliza (much younger than him)
She was nee Jones so Catherine has died pre 1841

I was trying to establish when Charles remarried and to find Catherines Burial to establish a dob.
Charles seems to have moved around a lot!

FreeBMD has a Charles JACKETT marriage reg 1838 Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
Eliza JONES on same page.

So Reuben/George were born before the Marriage.

I know I shouldn't assume but I am wondering if Charles and catherine may
have married in Kent.

I cant find any Marriage on-line for Charles to Catherine Main..

Charles as a Blacksmith seemed to get around in many Counties with his work.
(you can see that from where Children were born on Birth Regs and Baptisms)

As Catherine was not alive in 1841 we can not see if she was born in Kent (or even England at all)
