RACHEL COFFIELD

I am looking for the return from Canada of Rachel Coffield, she left Glasgow in 1919 as a 4 year old travelling to Brunswick with her mother, she returned to England sometime before her first son was born in 1939

Any help much appreciated

I have found her on the 1921 Canadian census (so that narrows her return a little  )

She is in Brandon Manitoba with parents Neil and Eleanor.

Can't see her on passenger lists coming back yet though.

Thank you Carole, she possibly came back as Rachel Hart, she did marry a Mr Hart but thought she married in England, just found a  possibility  on Ancestry Worldwide but I haven't updated to the worldwide subscriptions

It looks like her father remained in Canada and died a widow (according to his death reg). There are a few ship records for an Eleanor going to England after 1939, sometimes with children, but no Rachel. Do you know if Rachel returned alone?  Did she have siblings?

I have just found out she came home about 1934 named as Reita

I was just looking at that passenger list and trying to work out people and ages 

They arrived into Liverpool from New York on 16 Jan 1934.

 I saw Reita as well, but I thought she was two years younger.  I should really use a calculator instead of my brain when it's the middle of the night

She was born Dec 1915 so she could have been shown  a year either side

Rachel, she was always known as Rita,   as far as I know had 3 children, Reginald born in Canada but came back to England before 1939 and stayed here, sister Uno or Juno born in Canada and stayed there after her mother came home
