Looking for Birth date and parents of James Galloway who in Kirkcaldy on Dec 29th 1751 married Helen Pye born 7/10/1722(James Pye/helen Hunter where her parents). They had a son George Galloway born July 18 1758 Kirkcaldy. James death may have been Nov 14 1771?

The closest that I can find is this baptism in Nov 1725 in Kettle (Kingskettle), Fife. Father is given as George.

Just checked   www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk   and another possibility could be a James Galloway born/baptised on 19th May 1723 at Kinghorn - parents James Galloway and Elizabeth Petrie.
Kinghorn is approximately 4 miles from Kirkcaldy.
