A possible scenario for your consideration.
Starting with the marriage at Marden,
1790 July 29 Joseph Newington (Ticehurst Ssx) and Philadephia Williams otp,
one of the witnesses was a Jos (Joseph?) Williams.
Between 1756 and 1761 Joseph Williamson and his wife Mary had three children at Marden, one of whom was a Joseph born 1759. Therefore, there is the possibility that the (witness) Jos Williams could have been related in some way to Philadelphia. Nothing definitive, just a possibility.
Then back a bit further there was this marriage at Lamberhurst,
1753 Sept 24 Joseph Williams and Mary Rolfe (no detail; from Family Search)
Prior to this there was a baptism at Goudhurst as,
1751 Oct 6 Philadelphia d/o Mary Relph - Baseborn
So, could Philaelphia have been a stepdaughter, or half brother, to the Jos Williams who witnessed her marriage?
Over to you,
Tony
