Good afternoon all you people out there.

I have Richard Mansell born 1851 Leamington Priors.

1861 He is a scholar living in Leam Terrace East.
1871?
1881?
1883 He married in Aston spelt Munsell.
1891 He is a Police Constable living in Sutton Coldfield.
1901 He is still a Police Constable in Sowe
1911 Night watchman in Birmingham

Think it was him died in 1921 in Small Heath

So where is he in 1871 and 1881.

That looks really promising, I wonder if his Royal Navy records are on Ancestry because I have found the other day the records of John Sydney Mansell at the records office.

Thanks to Kay I now have the 1871 census and his Royal Navy details.

That just leaves him hiding in 1881.
