Birth and parents of Henry Smith

I am trying to find out more about a Henry Smith, born circa 1838 in Broomhills, Northumberland, according to census records 1871, 1881, 1911, and his wife Margaret Elliott, born Biddlestone Edge, Northumberland, in 1845. I just cannot find out any more about them, e.g. birth / baptism certificates, parents, siblings. Anyone out there help, please?

Yes, marriage was in 1862, in Ponteland. I have their daughter's birth certificate which led me to the father and mother's names. I had got confused about Broomhill, since there is another Broomhill over near Ridsdale, which is a long way from the focus of the family.
What has stumped me is the inability to find Henry on the 1861 or 1851 census, just nowhere does Broomhill come up as a birthplace for a Henry Smith 1838ish.
I had only seen the marriage on the BMD in Ancestry, so not as much info. as you have suggested, thank you.
