Yes I have George's parents as Thomas and Mary
I wonder if George had a brother named Alexander who came to Australia too.

The 1930 NSW electoral roll shows
ARCHIBALD, Alex at the same address as those listed previously
School Lane, Woonona Werriwa.
He is a miner.

Here is a death

ARCHIBALD Alexander
4104/1947
Parents Thomas & Mary
At RANDWICK

In 1937 in the local newspaper servicing Balgownie NSW

South Coast Times  15 Jan 1937
http://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/142674704

IN MEMORIAM

ARCHIBALD
In loving memory of my dear wife and our mother, Caroline Waller, died 16th Jan. 1932
This is a day of sad regrets. One we’ll remember and never forget
Dear is there grave, where she is laid. Sweet is the memory that will never fade.

Inserted by her loving husband and daughter, Phemia.

Not just to-day but everyday,
In silence we remember,

By her daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Billy Thomas.

Can you please confirm the names of all of the children of Caroline Waller ARCHIBALD.

Can you please confirm when Mary and Billy returned to Wales.   The 1931 supplementary roll showing Mary as Mary THOMAS, School lane, Balgownie would cover 'new' enrolments, and as she had recently married, her 'new' enrolment would reflect her change of surname to that of her husband.    May I speculate that is possible that he was unable to reside there with his wife and in-laws permanently due to the lack of regular employment (Great Depression) and without a 'fixed' address he would not be in a position to qualify to enrol.  Many men became itinerant at that time, some tramped across the country.  One of my rellies tramped from Newcastle NSW to Far North Queensland, seeking work.  This was not considered unusual.
