I'm looking for information about my 2 x great gran Rebecca smith. We think she was born around 1875 in Milton Surrey.  We have searched and can't find anything !!! If anyone has any ideas or info it would be be great thanks .

Can you confirm Smith was her birth surname and not her married name?

Who did she marry and when?

What fathers name does she give on her marriage cert?

When and where did she die?

Yes that was me and the other older post was my dad !!! The few times we found Rebecca she gave her name as smith . I'm seriously stuck and was hoping that someone else had been researching smiths and had found her . I'll post some more details about her when I get home . Thanks for any help !!

Carolew, we haven't been able to find her marriage cert but she had children with Joseph James.

So this is the little bit of info I have about Rebecca smith
1911 census she is with Joseph James  (her partner) she's 30 and he's 40.
They're with their kids
Vertina , Joseph, Jack and Mary
1901 census
It has Rebecca and Joseph both down as aged 26 !!!
Vertina and Joseph's ages are correct (10 years younger than 1911 census )
We can't find Rebecca smith before that but my dad and sister have done a lot of work and found that she was born in 1875 in Milton Surrey but this was through someone's tree and they didn't have info about her parents.  I've read that lots of Buckleys used smith as an alias but I haven't got anything solid to go with so I'm stuck and don't really know where to go with it !! I'd be really greatfull for any help or suggestions :)
