Help needed please

I have found out by two different people that my late grandad (who was adopted), his birth mother apparently had daughters who they think we're twins? Phylis and Margaret b1923? One said Margaret emigrated to America?
I can't find them anywhere. Mothers names was Coppard (married name) Weeden (maiden name). No idea who the father is?

When did the Coppard / Weeden marriage take place

I can see a single birth in 1923 Coppard mmn Weeden

Yeah I saw a birth 1923 for Irene? They were married 1909 but divorced 1921?

It would not be unknown for a divorced or separated woman to register the birth of a child in her 'married name'  even though she was divorced.  A large number of divorced women retain their married name after divorce until they remarry.

It looks as though Irene died aged 17 in Maidstone district in Mar qtr 1941, having been a patient at the Kent County Mental Hospital there.

Yes thank you I knew that part. Just don't know any further info about a Phylis or Margaret? This is what's confusing as they divorced 1921 but Irene was born 1923 and I think was Irene Coppard?
