How track the movements of my nan

Hi,

How can I found out (if possible at all) where my nan lived (places and addresses) from 1909 until she died in 1996 ?
I know she lived in Dorking, Surrey (1936), Linford, Essex (1945) and Dover, Kent (from the 60/70 until she died).
She moved a lot I have the impression, but no one seems to know where she lived all those years.

This is what I know:

Doris Blanche Wilson, returned from Ceylon in 1909 (father Albert Thomas and mother Frnaces Winifred)

Married Frederick Jack Windley, in Shorne, Kent in 1933
Son Jock born in 1936 in Dorking, Surrey
Daughter Colleen born in Linford, Essex in 1937
Son Christopher born in Redruth, Cornwall in 1945(but her residence was given as Linford, Essex).

She married Ernest Masters in 1962 (not 100& sure about the year and don't know where)

She married Edward (Ted) McKeen somewhere in the 70's (I think), probably in Dover, Kent.

Any help grately appreciated

Have you tried to find her on the 1939 register

thank you, didn't have the dates of marriage.
couldn't find her in the 1939 register.

I'm especially interested in finding out when she left Lindford, Essex and where she went from there !!

1939 - you may have to look for the surname Masters, Windley to find her.  ;)
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!

I did Bumblebee, she was a Windley in 1939. Not a Masters until 1962 !

Possibly phone books? (Available Ancestry), always hard to know if right person though.
ie. 1978

The 1939 register was updated until the early 1990's by the NHS so if she married after 1939 there should be a name change though it was not always done
