Windsor Baptism Request
« on: Sunday 03 September 17 17:27 BST (UK) »
I am researching my wife's family from Wolverhampton and have come up against a person for whom I can find little information. She is Florence Louise King born Windsor 1874. I would be most obliged if anyone can shed any light on this person.
kind regards
Mike

A very warm welcome to Rootschat

The GRO has the birth registration of -
Florence Louise King, Sep Qtr, 1874, Windsor, 2c 420 - mother's maiden name Parker

There's also a Florence Catherine King, Dec Qtr 1874, Windsor, 2c 426 - mother's maiden name Doore

So any Census checking requires care!

The parents of Florence Catherine were Thomas King and Mary Ann Doore. I can find these in Windsor on the 1881 Census but not your Florence Louise in that area.

Florence Louise was the right person, found her in the 1881 and 1891 census, granddaughter staying with Joseph and Elizabeth Parker near Warminster. Thanks again your help is most appreciated.

Just about to post details of the 1891 census with the "Parker" link.
