I don't know if it is possible to trace this information but I am trying to find marriage details for the above person.

Born in Ireland between 1810 -1820
Married in Old Luce in 1838 to Frances O'Neill
Died in Dalbeattie in 1900

I have traced his death and two census records 1841 and 1891

Could anyone advise me where to look for the marriage records.

Scotlandspeople has a marriage(or Banns) in the Old Parish Registers -

Barney Kennedy / Fanny O'Neil 19th November 1839 , Old Luce or Glenluce , Wigtown(shire).
Barney Kennedy / Fanney ONeal 16th November 1839 , New Luce , Wigtown(shire).

There probably won't be much more information on the records than already given.

The Bernard Kennedy that died in 1900 Dalbeattie has age as 61.

Ann Kennedy 1 b. Wigtownshire

In 1871 - aged 56
In 1881 - aged 50   - ? worth checking original

On the 1891 census:

16 Copeland Street, Dalbeattie
Barnard Kennedy, 73, general labourer, b. Ireland
Fanny, wife, 63,b. Glenluce, Wigtownshire

The 1900 death is for him - same address, same occupation, same wife. His son was informant, so maybe got the age wrong.

Thanks, I have managed to find it, I was hoping it would give mother and father details but it doesn't, but at least  have what I was searching for.
