I have the following notice from the Norwich Mercury, 1828 (attached).
Pullyn Phillips lived in Wood Dalling; his grave marker says he lived at Wood Dalling Hall.
but his Widow (and presumed executrix) is listed as living at Dalling Hale, near Holt.
If it wasn't for the "near Holt" I'd be quite happy to assume that "Hale" is a typo for "Hall", but Wood Dalling is 9 miles from Holt. I don't think that's "near", especially by 1828 standards.
Can anyone help?
