Luvian-wade
« on: Friday 06 October 17 17:33 BST (UK) »
Trying to help a friend out here trouble tracing anything about Luvian-wade family. Her father is loosely related to Albert Luvian Wade the famous rugby player that died in WW1. Albert was one I of 4 brothers born in Scotland, one other brother died in WW1. Albert was educated at Dulwich college.
The father of the 4 brothers lived in London with the 2 surviving brothers , trying to find any history of there descendants .
Can anybody help or provide any links to the history of this family . Free bmd brings up only one entry for Luvian Wade

Presumably the father has died by now. So can you give us his name?

And what about the 4 boys, are they all now deceased?  If so, please provide their names and years and places of birth, and what you already know.

Can you confirm if you are trying to go back further ("history") or forward ("descendants") as you use both words!

Probate index has entries for:
Albert Luvian Wade (1917)
Sarah Luvian Wade (1926)
William Thomas Luvian Wade (1928)
James Luvian Wade (1953)
Arthur Edward Luvian Wade (1963)

when we get some names/dates/places then some of these might be worth looking at.

Luvian seems to be a Christian name, not part of the surname  ( I glanced at one of these, and widow was just Mrs Wade)

1911 look ups aren't allowed, but if you put in Luvian (as a Christian name) and Wade (as a surname) there are several that come up for you to look at further.

Sorry, I wasn't clear.  I didn't mean her father's name, I meant that of the 4 brothers.  Which I  found out since for myself from cwgc as T Luvian Wade.

If you think James died in WW1 then does that mean he isn't the one I saw the probate for in 1953?

That one has address of 94 Kensington Church Street, Kensington, so right part of the world. Died 30 July 1953. Probate granted to Arthur Edward Luvian Wade, Company director.
