Hello,
Thank you very much for taking the trouble to find this for me, massively appreciated as I thought I would be playing a long waiting game until it became available online.
Unfortunately, it is not so easy to identify which one is Christopher Stabler, there were two main reasons I was looking for a picture of Christopher- one being we don't have one of him and the other being we have a collection of family photos relating to the Stablers with a number of unidentified pictures and I was hoping to maybe match him to one of them but no joy there. As it is, he would be 40 in 1916 so I guess it could be narrowed down to the gentleman in the top right and the two in the middle. Looking at pictures we have of his brothers and cousins, I suspect it is the middle right fellow in the hat. Will have to look at this further...
I would love the extra information if you don't mind passing it on. I will PM you in a moment.
Again, many thanks for taking the trouble to help me like this- even though I'm not sure 100% which one it is, it is great to know that one of them is him!
Dan
