tomlinson joseph 1851 & 1841 census
« on: Wednesday 03 August 05 21:47 BST (UK) »
Hi,
just wondered if someone would be so kind as to look-up Joseph Tomlinson in the 1841 & 1851.

Born approx 1837 in Holbeck lincolnshire. Married to Sarah (?), who was born in Grimsby, Lincs.

In 1861, (aged 25yrs),  he was a wheelwright living in Hull, (New George Street East Sculcoates).

It may be that he was still living in Lincolnshire in 1851???

Thank you JH

Hello JH

A look at the 1861 census page, not Holbeck as indexed it is Holbeach

1851 Census Benniworth HO107/2107 folio 95 page 10

Joseph Tomlinson 16   Groom b. Louth Lincs employed by Landed Proprietor Edward Bragg 71

A possible?

Thank you so much.

Yes - it must be Holbeach!

I will certainly follow this lead.

Thank you again,
