Help in finding marriage

l am trying to find the marriage of John Graham and Lilian Fulford before 1913. l have tried 1837 online and free BMD but nothing comes up.

John was born in 1887 Birkenhead Cheshire, there are 2 John's for this year so not sure which is him. He died in 1960 age 73

Lilian appears to have been born in Everton Liverpool abt 1890. In 1891 census she appears as Lilian, in 1901 she is Susannah Lilian and l think if this is the one she married Alfred Rose in 1919. My Lilian died in 1968 age 76 so cannot be sure that the above Lilian is my grandmother, so l really need the marriage to carry on.

My mother and her 2 brothers were all born in Birkenhead.

l am really at a loss now as to how to find the marriage, before John was born l found a Graham family living just a couple of streets from were my mom  and myself was born so l am assuming this to be my ggrandparents.

Would anybody have any ideas or could find the information would be most appreciated in deed.

If you've searched 1837online, bear in mind the possibility that they didn't actually get married.  That's quite common, and a source of a great deal of frustration.  Do you have the birth record of any of their children?  That would give you Lilian's maiden name etc.

Hi,

Yes l have my mothers birth cert, thats how l got the name Fulford, its on moms and her brothers birth cert  as her former name, also have Lilian's  death cert which only states her name as Lilian no middle or other first name.
