My paternal grandmother was a Crocker,
I have the line back to Joseph Crocker (b1759), and his father William Crocker (dates not known).
No Seymours in my tree at all?

The urban myth Somerset Crocker equals Jane Seymour lineage.
She was related to Crocker line . But ... There is American wishful thinking in that most American Crockers believe they are related to her.

Ah! Never heard that before?
But then I don't believe in wishful thinking - only documentary evidence

The evidence is convincing enough. Two American academics wrote a book in about 1895 to dispel it.
But it has hung on like Area 51.

Not sure if this one works, you may need to scan round behind you.

The chapel as it is now, the Soar theatre.

Added; 4th link not working properly. Zoom in on high st, you will see Soar theatre and slimming world. theatre is actually where it says slimming world. opposite on map is a blue mark, put your little man on that and see the outside as it is now.

Is that the William Humphrey appointed deacon by Samuel Evans in 1818?
