One of mine is on that war memorial- Thomas W Gray.
He actually died of flu in the epidemic after the war but my great grandparents
made a fuss. They said that as he had been left weakened by a gas attack he would
have survived the flu and eventually they put his name on it.
How true this is- who knows?
