Don't worry - I may have as well!!

I thought the above picture was taken in 1880/1890 - but will now have to double check as I was looking at this marvelous site for old maps: http://www.old-maps.co.uk/

I have attached part of the map from 1882 - the station shown as Bowdon - was to become the Carriage Sidings for Altrincham Station which was built where it says Altrincham Junction.

The above photo of Lord Stamford was taken outside the "new" Station which is still there at present - The Railway Inn is very close to this "new" Station.
