Hi Lisa
I was born Doreen Elizabeth Baylis in Hackney in 1951. I have traced my clan through Stepney & Bow in the 1800s then on to Plaistow in 1900-1950s, after which some went out Hornchurch way, some emigrated, my grandparents moved to Luton after the war, and my parents are still in Woodford Green. I have a website (due to be updated) at http://baylis-merry.mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/ have a look & see if your family links in anywhere as I'm still looking for stray branches.
