1814 Marriage
« on: Monday 01 January 18 20:45 GMT (UK) »
I have managed to find the marriage of William Powell and Betty Atwood which took place in 1814 in Cam. Does anyone know where I can see the actual image as I’m hoping the bride and groom’s abode are included in the record.

Thank you

The image is on Ancestry. It just said "Of this parish" for both of them. 14 February 1814. Married by banns with the consent of parents. Witnesses William Summery? and Kerzia Attwood (her mark)

Thanks Capetown, I've no idea who Kezia is, maybe a sister or cousin?

Thanks again  :)

?

All I can see, so far, is on the Family Search website of a

Martha HALL 6 February 1831, at Blagdon, Oxfordshire, parents: Robert & Kezia (which isnt' too common a name)

Regarding the other witness Joseph ATTWOOD, he is aged 40 on the 1841 census and a Tailor in Cam, along with his wife Jemima and children.

There is a tree on Ancestry

Joseph ATTWOOD, born 1801,  (no parents given) Dursley, died 1845

birth of daughter Ann ATTWOOD, 1830 Gloucestershire
(Ancestry: christened at Cam, 31 May 1830, parents: Joseph, occupation: Tailor and his wife Hannah)

? marriage at St James Parish Bristol, 24 January 1822, Joseph ATTWOOD, and Hannah BENDALL)

married aged 33 - 9 November 1834, Clifton Glos to

Jemima WHITTARD (ATTWOOD) (HATHAWAY) - 1801-1887
