When was Jane born? Are you sure Henrietta was Dunn or Dow, can't find the marriage. There's a marriage with Henrietta Black 7 Nov 1830, Jarrow, Durham.

Wylam was a township of Ovingham Parish.

So - a baptism to think about - John Nicholson born 25 August 1807, baptised 20th September 1807, 4th child of Joseph Nicholson of Chester le Street by his wife Jane Armstrong of Hexham.

According to records, she was born Oct 1837 at Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland also.
Recently, found that it is Dow but as mentioned, she was previously married to a Tempest.
