William Trainor or catherine Hillen

All I know is that William Trainor/Traynor was born in 1855 in Ireland and catherine Hillen/Hillan/Hillon was born in 1857.

They had their first child in England (Liverpool in 1877) but I can not find a trace of a marriage in England or Ireland.    They were both educated as they were literate and William was shown as an engineer on this birth certificate.

Have a feeling that they ran away from ireland?

I don't know where they came from - although Northern ireland seems to be where the family think they were from.

If I can't find a marriage then I can't be sure of their fathers names which means I can't confirm any birth records as theirs.    Have been searching for a clue for over a year now


Anyone any ideas??

I have looked on BIVRI for your names - these are the only ones born anywhere near your date and there is no trace of marriage - sorry
