Looking for John Daniels parents

John Daniels was born 24 Feb 1804 in Maryland, USA and died 15 Sep 1871 in Phillipi, Barbour, West Virginia, USA. He married Elizabeth Yeager who was born 1817 in Lewis, Virginia, USA. I am looking for John Daniels parents. There seem to be quite of few Daniels in Virginia and I am having trouble finding who his parents are for certain. Many trees list them as Joesph Daniels born 19 Apr 1778 in Imber, Wiltshire, England and Dorothy VanCent born in the Netherlands as well as Alexander Daniels born 1786 in Campbell County, Virginia, United States and Nancy Carwiles born about 1786.
If someone could confirm who they really are, I'd appreciate it!
