Looking for the parents of one of my fourth greats: Janet Crawford apparently born 1806 in Dunbartonshire,  Scotland married John Orr 1828 in Cumbernauld, Dunbartonshire and died 26 SEP 1893 in Wynd, Cumbernauld, Dunbartonshire, Scotland.

Numerous public/private ancestry trees list parents John Crawford and Elizabeth - public trees without any other details or sources but would give you contacts

Have you downloaded a copy of her death cert which should give her parents names and mothers maiden name

From Scotlandspeople it looks like her death was 1883 not 1893  :-\
