Thank you for the info. Wonder if we could find a birth Cert. (Any clues as to finding one?) for Nation Braine, have only been able to find a baptism, both the boys (James & Nation)were bap on the same day. 20 May 1838.

Nation was 4 in the 1841 census (taken on 6 June 1841, so born between June 1836 and June 1837) and if that was accurate was therefore born before the introduction of civil registration on 1 July 1837.  There will be no birth certificate.
