Sarah Ellen Short

Sarah was born in 1872 and died  7.4.1952 in East Coker Somerset. He parents were George and Christiana Foot. I wonder if records have her exact date and place of birth? Many thanks Mark

I'm having trouble finding her in any census. The nearest I can find is a Sarah Ellen Short born 1872  Hermitage, Dorchester, Dorset with father George Short and mother Christiana Foot. She was baptised 28 Jan 1872. Is this just a coincidence?

The family are in Hermitage, Dorset for 1881 Census, George, Christiana and six children.

Search on 1939 register gives a date of birth as 18th December 1871 for a Sarah E Foot living at East Coker, which could fit in with 1872 baptism already found.

Yes you are correct she worked at Sherborne Castle before her marriage to John Foot my gr grandfather.
