Looking for Edward's parents!!

I am looking to find the parents to Edward FREEMAN born around 1585, Hitchin, Hertfordshire, wife unknown....any info appreciated no matter how small..

Children;

1. James born 1615, married Joan PLUMMER

2. Robert born 1618, no more info known about him.

They certainly have the date of the Plummer-Freeman marriage.


Is there a reason why your thread title says Edmund but you're looking for Edward?

Sorry for the confusion.....I have so many males named Edmund on my list the name is always on my mind, it should definitely be Edward.....could you please explain H.A.L.S. please.
