trevor,i think this may be james and elizabeth[nee jones]married in bengal in 1875,check this site,go on google and type in index to bengal marriages,most of their kids were born in india,you may have the same problem as annie,you need to check the queens+kings south africa medal rolls for frederick.

these blokes were in the same battalion as james.
