This maybe Joseph in 1861 Paddock Lane, Walsall, Staffordshire.

Ann Maria Nash    Wife     F    33    Birmingham, Warwickshire

Thank you very much but I am not going any further back.
I am so pleased that I have a name for my great-great-grandfather's twin brother.
Thank you again for your help.

You seem to know your way around census sites so I was wondering if you could search for another branch of my tree.
My great-grandfather Peter Edward Lester came to South Australia and married Matilda Jane Woodbridge in 1873 in Adelaide.
I have an approx date of his birth as per marriage cert. 1836 and his father is listed as John Lester.
I have everything I need from this day on but have no idea from whence this man Peter came.
Matilda was born 11 nov 1848 in Berwick Middlesex.
I really just want a birth date and place for Peter and I can possibly find more out from that. Thanking you in advance .... just pointing me in the right direction to start would be ample but every site I go to wants money. Cheers, Irene

Will have a look for Peter, but in the meantime re Matilda there is no “Berwick”, Middlesex.  Her birth was registered Dec qtr 1848 St James Westminster, so perhaps this is a reference to Berwick Street, Westminster?
