GRO list mother as SWIFT (two of mine known are the same!)

trying to find who lived at those addresses but
1911 at 37A Beloe St is Mrs Frances Davenport and 2 daughters, husband at sea
1911 at 22 Marmion Terrace is widowed Mrs Mary Jane Myddleton, 1 daughter, 1 son

(don't appear related to those boys who died there)

would I be better finding out who lived there in 1901?
(their mother and siblings lived in Kensington District in 1901)

1911 is nine years after the children's burials. It's not surprising that residents of both addresses have changed in that time. I agree that finding the residents in 1901 might be beneficial. I believe you search by addresses on Find My Past (I don't have a sub so can't check I'm sorry).

Do you have both death certificates? The informants may be relatives. Perhaps the family moved in the months after Arthur's death, hence the different addresses.

Original burial entries show these burials were 'single' interments in public graves so not mass burials as such although a number of adults and children would be buried in this type of grave. The family would have paid for this type of burial and at the time it was the most popular type of burial and did not necessarily reflect on the financial situation of the deceased and their family. It's difficult for us to track the movements of families as people moved very often from tenancy to tenancy. My own ancestors didn't have longer lasting tenancies until the 1920s onwards:-

There is most probably more then one register for burials, the other one should have more details as to who paid for the funeral.
